Books on my shelves I need to read, most of these are new so bear with me.

  •  Life Of Pi by Yann Martel: I saw this at a car boot and got it for 50p, I saw the movie in cinemas and adored it but I've heard mixed reviews about the book. We shall see :)
  • The Moneypenny Diaries- Guardian Angel by Kate Westbrook: I got this about 5/6 years ago and for some reason never read it, I think I was too young at the time but it's based on Miss Moneypenny from the James Bond, which I love, so I'm excited for this.
  • The Killer Inside Me by Jim Thompson: I got this very recently for a pound at a charity shop and it was the title that instantly drew me in. I'm fascinated by serial killers and the fact that I've never seen a story from the POV of one surprises me so I had to get this.
  • The Poe Shadow by Matthew Pearl: An alternative history fiction, this book is based on the mysterious death of Edgar Allan Poe and I also got it recently for a pound at a charity shop. The Spine is beautiful and drew me in, plus a review on the front was by Dan Brown and I couldn't resist.
  • Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith: I actually read quite a bit of this book last year but never finished it. I'm hoping to reread it all at some point.
  • Leviathan by Scott Westerfield: I'm so excited for this but I was finishing the Millennium trilogy when I bought it so I haven't read it yet. I also got this at a charity shop for you guessed it, a pound!
  • Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin : I got a random selection from the series at a car boot. I picked up the 2nd, the 3rd part 2, the 4th and a hardback copy of the 5th all for a pound. I've been waiting to read this but I want to get the first one and every copy I've seen has been the TV series cover and it doesn't match. Plus I'm slightly daunted by the size of these books and this series as a whole.
  • Lord Of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien: I feel like I have to apologize for this one. I started reading these last year when I got them and the I couldn't get into the first one so I left them. I really really loved the Hobbit so I'm ready to give this another go at some point.
  • Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen: I got a beautiful copy of this at a charity shop yesterday and I decided at last to buy it and I'm ready to read this now.
  • Dracula by Bram Stoker: I'm actually reading this now and enjoying it a lot.
  • Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy: I'm not too sure about this book, I did enjoy the film and on a whim I bought the book and it's a big fellow so I'm put off at the moment.
I bought all of these yesterday so bear with me:
  • The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
  • Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe
  • Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
  • The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
  • Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift
  • Around the World In Eighty Days by Jules Verne
  • The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde
